The postdoctoral fellow on neutrino physics experiments
The Department of Nuclear Physics and Biophysics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, Comenius University, Bratislava, seeks candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship in the neutrino physics group for one year.
The selected candidate will play a leading role in experimental activities related to double-beta decay experiments, particularly in the search for double-beta decay in Neodymium, Platinum, and Osmium naturally occurring isotopes with low-counting γ spectrometry. Further, active participation in the SuperNEMO experiment, particularly in simulations and data analysis, is foreseen.
Interested candidates must send a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research statement, and two recommendation letters to Fedor Šimkovic. The call deadline is June 20, 2022. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
The gross salary is around 27 375 per year (including social security contributions and taxes).
