Job description

The postdoc will work within the research group of the Excellent Research Team GRAMAD (Graphs, maps and other discrete structures), which is one of a few officially recognized excellent research teams by the Accreditation Committee of the Slovak Republic. The team has an extensive collaboration with numerous specialists in graph theory in the word. 

The main duties 

  • conduct research in the area of structural graph theory, in the area of flows and colourings on graphs and other related areas
  • propose and develop new areas of research within the research group 

Skills, qualifications and requirements 

  • Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree not older than 3 years before the intended start of the postdoc, from a university different from Comenius University, Slovak Republic. The candidate must be aged under 35 years;
  • they should have previous experience in research in graph theory; and
  • good communication skills (oral and written) in English.
