The organizers of the Algebraic Graph Theory International Webinar would like to invite you to join us and other colleagues on Januar 4, 2022, at 7pm Central European Summer Time (= 6pm UTC), for the next presentation delivered by Domenico Catalano.

The title of Martin's talk: Which simple groups are automorphism groups of chiral maps (or not).

Abstract:
During and after the classification of finite simple groups, many papers of many authors appear giving geometric and algebraic characterizations of them. In this talk, we focus our attention (and interest) in the relation of finite simple groups with maps, restricting us to regular maps and regular oriented maps (orientably-regular maps).
